End of Year Offering Sunday

Sunday, December 7th

"Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here I am! Send me." Isaiah 6:8

At the end of each year, we take a Sunday to practice generosity through missions giving. We have the amazing responsibility to reach our mission field in Marysville AND we also have a great opportunity to go into all the world through our giving. We may not be able to physically travel and spread the gospel, but our heart goes as we give funds to support ministries and missionaries locally and globally.

We provide seven specific buckets to give to each year that include both local and global ministries. Check out those different opportunities below.

1) Go Ye

In March of 1994, Pastor Dennis was rifling through the day's mail, which included several ministry and non-profit fundraising mailers. He felt inclined to give, but instead said out loud, "Lord, I just can't give to everyone!" Quickly, in his spirit he heard, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel." He repeated out loud, "Lord, I just can't give to everyone!" Again, in his spirit he heard, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel." One more time, with a little less certainty he said, "Lord, I just can't give to everyone."

"Go into all the world and preach the Gospel."

It resounded in his mind until the Spirit made it clear: When we give money, we give our lives. If we give to the world, we contribute a bit of our life into all the world. This is going into all the world to preach the Gospel. Heaven will meet those whose lives were changed by us funding the Gospel in every nation.

The fastest and most geographically-thorough way to give is through the World Bucket. Money will be distributed to Assembly of God missionaries and ministries operating in 160 nations or nation-groups that consist of at least one million people.

2) FireBible

The Full Life Study Bible began in the 1980s as the vision of missionary Donald Stamps, who longed to create a Study Bible written from a Pentecostal perspective. Even while battling cancer, he devoted his life to completing this work so believers everywhere could grow in God’s Word.

Now known as the FireBible, this unique resource helps Christians live fully inspired lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. With verse-by-verse notes, articles, and commentary it offers clear insight and practical application for every believer.

Through Assemblies of God World Missions and Life Publishers, the FireBible has been translated into more than 65 languages, with many more in progress. Your giving helps make new translations possible so pastors and believers around the world can experience the truth and power of God’s Word.

3) Dickinsons in Gabon Africa

Gary and Janice Dickinson are ordained Assemblies of God ministers who have faithfully served in Africa for more than 30 years as church planters, Bible school directors, and pastors. Through their ministry, six churches have been planted, a Bible school and a girls’ ministry established, and over 5,000 people have come to know and follow Jesus.

After 24 years of ministry in the Congo, they have now been called to Libreville, Gabon, where they are directing a new BA-level Bible school to train and equip future pastors and leaders. Gary and Janice continue to serve with joy and passion, believing that strong biblical training will help shape the next generation of African church leaders.

How can I give?

On Sunday, December 7th at 9:15a and 11:00a we will have buckets set out for you to contribute cash or checks in-person. You can give to all seven ministries, or you can choose one or two that you have particularly caught the heart and the vision for.

You can also give at by clicking here and selecting what ministry you want to give to in the dropdown menu. If you would like to be specific about what amount goes to which ministries, you can note that in your memo. Otherwise, we will evenly distribute your gift between the seven giving opportunities.
